Karl Heinrich Marx

Karl Heinrich Marx lived from early 1800's until late 1800's, basically in the 20th century. He was born on May 5,1818 and he passed away on March 14,1883. Throughout those 65 years that he lived, he did ten times more than a normal person usually does. We can't give him one name and say that he did this because he didn't do only that. Marx was so smart that he put something in different interests that he had. He was a German political economist, philosopher, historian, political theorist, sociologist and communist revolutionary. His ideas played a really big role in the development of modern communism and socialism. Marx can be identified as a special person in this world because he had really interesting thoughts and his goal was to make those thoughts happen.
Marx was the author of “The Communist Manifesto”. He published it on 1848. But Karl Marx wasn't the only one who worked on it, Friedrich Engels was part of it, too. This book is known as the most influential political manuscript. In this book, instead of representing the future of communism Marx is trying to show the class struggle and all of the problems that capitalism brings. The main point of The Manifesto was to feature how the capitalist society would be replaced by socialism, and then by communism. The contents of the Manifesto is divided into 5 separate parts:
  •
  • Let the ruling classes tremble at a communist revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Workingmen of all countries, unite”!

Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc was born on January 6 1412 to Jacques and Isabella D’arc. She was bored and raised in the small village of Domery, which is now part of Lorraine. During her childhood France was divided into warring fractions because they could not extend a truce with England. Due to the fact that a truce could not be made King Henry V and his family overthrew the French crown and ruled. The English returned in 1417 conquering most of northern France. It was about this time that Joan of Arc claimed that she began to have visions that included visual and physical communications between saints and herself. According to royal documents on at least two occasions two people also or witnessed the interactions between Joan of Arc and the saints. She also stated that these saints were none other than St. Catherine,St Margaret, and st Gabrielle.
The situation in her nation got worst because King Charles lost all the alliances he had. Joan claimed that as the situation worsen so did the urges from the angeles to go to France. She, with the advice of the saints led to her leading an army of men to victories and thus the rightful king being in power again. The fact that she was a woman commanding many men to victory made her someone to be admired. The fact that she did all of this with the help of god’s grace made her a saint. Although she truly believed she was being guided by god this might have made her job harder. Many people would have thought she was mad because she wanted to led an army at a time when women did not have a say in anything. I admire her because i imagined she always kept her head up and never said never. She is also someone people can view as brave, she loved her country and her family enough to risk her own life in order to preserve their way of life. I could do what she did but i do not think i would gain enough courage to do it. I am the type of person that can not handle pain so i do not see myself leading people into war.
Joan had such motivation because she had the support of the all mighty god. She believed what most people believe that when god is with you who can possibly be against you. With such motivation she worked for the kind of future she wanted, the kind of future where the rightful king was in the power. She had something that made her extraordinary, extraordinary enough to become a saint, she had the support of god. She also knew how to convince people and motive them so she could get the results she wanted. Both these things were important and without either of them she could not have any of the things she accomplished. She was indeed a product of her environment and era because if her environment and era did not call for change or revolution she would not have had the need to create the change or led the revolution. The main thing that can not be explain are the how she got enough strength to do all the things she did. She was a woman living in a man’s world and was successful in it. It is hard to explain because she climbed so high in such a short time. Before she was just a simple pleasant.
Aside from leading her men to countless victories i believe her most important success was when she was able to make people confess their sins. Everything she did was incrediable but i do believe her turning point was when she was put on trail. The reason is because after the trail she became a prisoner in a prison filled with men. She had to watch herself twice as hard to make sure no one touched her in an undesireable way. This might not have been a good turning point but a turning point none the less.

John Lennon

In this society there are many people that will always be remembered fro having made a contribution to making a move for something that they believed in. By doing so, they have changed the way that our society is being controlled. When we look at our society now, we say “This society is messed up”. Imagine living in a world where there had been no change done and everything stayed the same with no one stepping up and standing for what they believe in? For these type of people stepping forward and speaking what they believe some have died and others have survived to live another day. This makes a person a revolutionary and a one of a kind person because they have fought for our freedom.

John Lennon was one of these special people. John Lennon was a great revolutionary but he spoke in a father rather unique way. John Lennon was bon in Liverpool England as a child. Lennon grew up in the United States having a natural born talent of being blessed with making good music. Lennon founded the famous group that had been idols to many of the great rock bands that play music for us to this day. Lennon had a unique way of speaking what he beloved through his music. He was against politics, well, the way that they were being coordinated. Many people agreed with him and other did not, but Lennon always stepped fourth and stood by what he beloved in and would not change his mind for no one. Music was one thing that he absolutely loved. Loving music he used it to speak and send messages to people to step fourth to make change.

John Lennon was a one of a kind revolutionary because he changed the way that things are handled. When some one says the word “revolution” people automatically assume violence and dangerous protesting. They way that Leon did it was unique and quite till people started to realize that he was causing a change. Lennon is a legend to the music industry because of the songs we wrote and the things he accomplished with the band that he formed. Lennon had this special thing about him that he was so genuine and moving that when he spoke through his music people followed and knew it was time for a change. He was convincing Lenon was a product of his era in a sense that he caused action for a revolutionary movement. Darning his era he knew that it was time for a change and he protested through his music for a change.

Long before Lennon was a revolutionary or a well known artist he was just a man looking for a way to live. When he moved to the United States he came here just to live. Since Lennon had a great musical talent he exposed him self and used it for good. Once being able to get a representative he managed to get a band together and make music that people loved. Before all this Lennon was just an ordinary person living in the same society as you and I. With Lennon life struggles he saw a new way for people to be free and speak up for them selves. With his struggles and crucifies he know is remembered as one of the best artist in music history and as a great revolutionary that did not back down from his beliefs and caused a change.

In conclusion, Lennon was a great contribution to the society we have today. He helped shape it both with his music and his ideas. Even though his ideas lead to his death because not everyone thought the same way he did he changed things for everyone. Without great revolutionaries the world would have stayed the same and we would live the way things were before. Change is a great things and that is what shapes up to be what we are today.

Adolf Hitler

Adolf was born in Braunau-am-inn, Austria on April, 20 1889 to Alois and Klara Hitler. Of course being born in Austria made him a native Austrian not a native German. As a young child, Adolf didn’t get along real well with his peers. He did very poorly in school, and even dropped out early to pursue a dream of becoming an artist. This too would prove not to be the thing for Adolf. He applied to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and was turned down. Adolf’s mother, Klara, was his only living relative willing to support, and when she died in 1909, Adolf was forced to move to Vienna in search of a better way of life. Adolf was forced to bum around for a while because he refused to take regular employment.
Adolf had a few weaknesses himself and strengths. His weaknesses would have been his self delusion, inferiority feelings and abuse of powers, and some strengths would be his great military strategies, commandeering style and that he was a very clever man. Being the oldest child, Hitler received his father's civil service pension. It was a large sum of money, more than most people made in wages and meant that Hitler did not need to find work. He spent his days reading and walking around Vienna studying buildings, visiting museums, or painting. Hitler had always hated non-Germans, such as Jew and Slavs, and while in Vienna his hatred began to increase more and more. Hitler considered himself a German as many of the German speaking Austrians did. He believed that different nationalities should not be treated the same way.
About 1909 Hitler received call-up papers to join for military service. He didn't want to serve for Austria; therefore, he ignored the papers. It took authorities four years to catch up with him. When they caught up with him in 1913, they forced him to take a medical examination. He failed; they said he was too weak for battle and unable to bear arms. Hitler enjoyed being in the army. He felt he was a part of a group fighting for the same dream. He wanted to prove that Germany was still a superior power. At the thought of being in a battle, Hitler was excited. He impressed his commanders when he would volunteer himself for a dangerous mission.
He felt victimized by the Jews, he blamed a Jewish doctor for his mothers death, he blamed a Jewish professor for rejecting his artwork when he applied to the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, and he blamed them for the German loss of World War 1. He could not accept the fact that he was poor and living in terrible conditions. As a result, the blamed the Jews for getting him where he was. Basically he felt victimized so he flipped the table over and blamed them. He claimed he could see the future and that this was the future race of humanity, the best possible race ever, so he tried to speed up the process.
I feel that Hitler wanted recognition. He desperately wanted to belong and to be good at something. His overly strict father and overly indulgent mother did not help him develop coping skills. His mother's death plunged him into despair and grief, and his rejection by the Vienna School of Fine Arts pushed him over the edge. Hitler was mentally disturbed. His orchestral drawings were top-notch, and his landscape paintings were not bad. I feel that if he were accepted at the Vienna School of Fine Arts, he would not have had such a chip on his shoulder, and WWII may not have happened. The consensus is that Adolf Hitler took a cyanide capsule and shot himself in the head on April 30, 1945 in his bunker in Berlin. Soviet forces were only about half a mile away. There is nothing surprising about his suicide. He had gambled like crazy - and lost. What's more, he'd made himself absolutely hated.
In conclusion you can see Hitler was looking for someone to pay for what happened to Germany in World War 1. The war debt had to be paid. If Adolf was accepted to the Academy of Fine Arts World War 1 in my opinion would not have even happened and he would not have been hated by so many millions around the world, his whole life would have been in a different path. All he wanted was to be accepted into that school and since he didn’t everything went downhill for him and he ended up in this kind of history.
Adolf Hitler was leader of Germany during the Third Reich (1933 – 1945) and the primary instigator of both the Second World War in Europe and the mass execution of millions of people deemed to be "enemies" or inferior to the Aryan ideal. Born: April 20, 1889, died: April 30, 1945.
